Collaborative's Entrepreneurial Roundtable (CER)

May 21 2008 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Loie, 128 S. 19th St., 2nd Fl.

Join our network of emerging business leaders as we meet monthly to network and discuss the topics that are integral to today’s entrepreneurial community.  If you have never been to a CER event, please contact us with your name, business, title, and professional goals.

This month we welcome Beth Ann Wilson who will speak with us on "Promoting Your Value in Today’s Job Market" & "What are you worth?  How do you ask?"

Promoting Your Value in Today’s Job Market

Clarifying and communicating the value you can deliver to potential employers is crucial to success in your career transition.  Learn how to tell employers what it is you really do by introducing yourself with an asset script, rather than a job title.  Discuss the challenges many of us face with self-promotion.  Create a campaign so that the people who count know of your solid reputation.
What Are You Worth? How Do You Ask?
Whether you are asking for a raise or negotiating a job offer, there are some basic steps you need to take to gain the best possible outcome.  Learn how to prepare for this conversation.  Understand the dynamics of the negotiating situation, how to determine what you are worth and how to make this a win-win dialogue.

RSVP Required.
