Eakins Oval on the Ben Franklin Parkway Join the Philadelphia Jewish community as we celebrate Israel’s 60th Birthday. A parade will start at noon from 16th & the Parkway to Eakins Oval. Following the parade, join the festival for food, booths, and live music. The whole event goes from noon to 5pm, but take special care to join us from 1-2:30pm, as young professionals and grad students will chill at the "Tel Aviv beach and cafe"—so bring your own lunch and blanket, we’ll provide drinks and games. The event goes until 5pm and is a rain or shine event. | ||

Go all the way up the hill, and when your reach Ridge Ave, Shurs Lane turns into Walnut Lane. Continue straight on Walnut Lane, go over the bridge, and bear right at the circle to stay on Walnut Lane. Continue on Walnut Lane until you reach Wissahickon Avenue. Turn left on Wissahickon, and the field is immediately on your right. | ||
